For example, henna on palms tends to stain darker than on arms. Warmer skin, a thicker application, leaving the paste on for 6-8 hours or overnight, pre-cleaning the skin, and avoiding water exposure for 24-48 hours after paste removal all contribute to achieving the most vibrant stain possible.
